Castelldefels offers plenty of opportunities for water sports. Of course, you can bring your own equipment and head straight to the beach. An easier option, however, is to visit one of the five water sports centres, where you can rent all the necessary equipment. Below, you will find their locations together with practical information about each one.

What you can do
Canal Olímpic de Catalunya
The easiest place to try a watersport on managed inland water.
- Kayak, canoe and paddling: courses and private lessons.
- SUP / paddle surf: courses and private lessons.
- Windsurf and Optimist: courses, with Optimist for children’s introduction.
- Water-ski, wakeskate and beginner wakeboard.
- Inflatable water park in season.
The published 2026 tariff lists piragüisme from €53.50 for members and €66 for non-members; windsurf/Optimist and SUP from €67.50 / €83.50. One-hour private lessons start at €25.50 for members and €32.50 for non-members. Confirm the format and final price when booking.

An open-sea base for kitesurf, wing foil, windsurf, SUP, kayak and catamaran.

- The Club also presents patí a vela and sailing among its modalities.
Escola Garbí shares the Club facilities and handles classes and rentals. On open water, do not assume you can launch a kite from anywhere: confirm the day’s area and book a lesson if you are new.

Bunker
A sea club specialising in kitesurf, wing foil and kite foil.

- Air compressor and direct beach access via a walkway.
- A dedicated sailing channel and kite channel in summer.
- Pool, solarium, picnic area, barbecues and covered dining area.
Bunker publishes its address, phone and email, but no current tariff online. Ask about space availability, access, included services, the Federació Catalana de Vela leisure licence and the Castelldefels Kite Zone rules before travelling.
